Course Offerings

Every course includes a nationally recognized certification card upon completion. CPR and BLS courses are offered Instructor-Led (a full in-person class — certified the same day), Blended (self-paced online coursework plus a 1.5 hour in-person skills check), or as a Renewal for anyone with a current certification.

Community Classes

Open-enrollment classes on a scheduled date — register as an individual or bring a few friends or family members. Great if you don't need a private session just for your group.

Private & Group Classes

Book a session just for your team, family, school, or organization, at a date and location that works for you — including mobile onsite training at your business or a public facility for groups of three or more, or one-on-one/small sessions for one or two people based on need.

Mobile & Onsite Training

Sheila brings training directly to your business or a public facility across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Onsite sessions run for groups of three or more, with one-on-one or small sessions for one or two people also available based on need. Course pricing follows the standard per-person rates listed below, plus a flat travel fee based on distance from our Waldorf, MD home base.

Sheila Ford CPR and More LLC provides certified safety training for individuals, families, schools, and workplaces throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Every course is taught hands-on, with an emphasis on skills people can actually use in the moment that matters.

Known for her engaging teaching style and deep knowledge of CPR and first aid, Sheila Ford has built a reputation for helping students feel genuinely prepared to handle real emergency situations — a reputation built over years teaching in the Waldorf area.

Courses are available as open-enrollment community classes on scheduled dates, or as private and group sessions booked just for your family, team, school, or organization — including onsite training at your business or a public facility (onsite training is not available at private residences). Certification cards are issued directly through the American Red Cross, HSI, or American Heart Association upon completion.

Unlike larger multi-state training companies that dispatch a rotating roster of contractors, Sheila Ford CPR and More LLC is locally based in Waldorf, MD — you'll work directly with Sheila herself for every class, whether it's held here at home base or onsite anywhere across the DMV.
